The buffalo horn wing ring is a handcrafted piece in brass, hand carved from water buffalo horn into a long, graceful angel wing. Because horn is a natural material, its deep black tone carries soft, smoky variations, so every ring is a little different. It is dramatic to look at, yet light and easy to wear. Sometimes you only need that one ring.
A wing has always stood for freedom, spirituality and protection. For example, you can wear this buffalo horn wing ring as a reminder of someone who is your guardian angel, or give it to the person who always has your back. On a hard day, it is a quiet sign that you are not alone.
The wing measures 7 cm in length and 2.7 cm in width, a long and graceful statement size. The ring weighs only 5.3 g, so it stays comfortable all day. Our artisans carve each wing by hand and set it in brass, which frames the dark horn with a warm golden glow. You can wash horn gently with water, so everyday wear is no worry. For extra shine, rub in a very small amount of an oily or creamy product and buff softly. Please use only a little, because too much will attract dust. If the brass band loses its shine, rub it with normal toothpaste and a soft cloth.
