The abalone angel wing ring is a handcrafted piece in brass, set with a wing carved from abalone shell. Because abalone shimmers in soft blues, greens and pinks, every ring has its own colours. It is bold enough to be a statement, yet light and easy to wear, like a little piece of the ocean on your finger.
A wing has always stood for love, spirituality and protection. Abalone has long stood for solace and a connection to the ocean. For example, you can wear this abalone angel wing ring as a reminder of someone who is your guardian angel, or give it to the person who always has your back. On a hard day, it is a quiet sign that you are not alone.
The design measures 4 cm in height and 3 cm in width, a generous statement size. The ring weighs only 6.5 g, so it stays comfortable all day. You can wash abalone shell gently with water, so everyday wear is no worry. However, if the brass band loses its shine, rub it with normal toothpaste and a soft cloth. After that, it will shine again.
